An Oasis in the Heart of Old San Juan...

 

San Juan, Puerto Rico — Five years ago, Michy Marxuach was at a crossroads. Her husband wanted to live in the countryside and she wanted to stay here in the city’s historic district. 

Seeking a compromise, Ms. Marxuach, a 47-year-old art curator, suggested moving from their 2,500-square-foot apartment into a house with enough space for an urban farm.
